Playmobil 70176 Volkswagen T1 Camper Van

Playmobil 70176 Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus

The real Bulli. Not a display miniature: 25 cm of van in red and white, with official Volkswagen licence, 74 pieces and two figures inside. It is the big T1 set, the one people look for when they think of “the Playmobil camper van”.

On the outside it has everything: the VW badge on the nose, round chrome headlights, stalk mirrors, tubular bumper and the chrome roof rack with the travel suitcase and bag strapped on top.

And inside is where it wins

The whole roof comes off, revealing a complete 1960s camper interior:

• 🔹 Kitchen with sink, tap and cupboards, with vintage-design jars, tins and bottles
• 🔹 Seats that turn into a bed — the bench folds down and the bunk is ready
• 🔹 Folding table and green check upholstery, like the campers of the time
• 🔹 Fold-down rear hatch that reveals the engine, reproduced piece by piece
• 🔹 Working side doors and steering wheel with its lever
• 🔹 2 Playmobil figures and travel accessories: suitcases, road map, camera, mugs and utensils

That engine under the rear hatch is the detail that makes anyone who knows the van raise an eyebrow. Playmobil hardly does it on any other vehicle.
