Playmobil 71857 X Volkswagen T1 Camper

Playmobil 71857 X Volkswagen T1 Camper

The best-loved van in automotive history, under official Volkswagen licence and with the finish of the PLAYMOBIL Collector Cars line. The T1 “Bulli” in turquoise with white front and roof, the chrome VW emblem on the nose, round headlights and a printed number plate — and on top, the chrome roof rack with the surfboard strapped on.

What makes it special are the hippie stickers printed on the bodywork: flowers, daisies, the peace symbol and a “LOVE” on the side. They are not stickers that peel off: they are factory-printed.

Playmobil did not launch this series as a toy but as an adult collection — the box says age 5-99 — with a one-piece body and fixed panels, putting model accuracy before play.

The complete Collector Cars series

The T1 is one of the four in the first wave of Collector Cars, and at todotoy you have them all:

• 71856 · Ferrari 250 GTO Red — the Italian classic
• 71857 · Volkswagen T1 Camper — this one
• 71858 · Ford F-150 Raptor Blue — the American pickup
• 71859 · Porsche Carrera GT Yellow — the German sports car

All four share the same format and box, so they look just right together in a display cabinet. And as a gift for a car lover — or for someone who once had a camper van — the whole series is a safe bet.

Where does the Volkswagen T1 Camper fit?

In a scale car display cabinet, on the Playmobil licences shelf, or on the desk of anyone who dreams of a Bulli. If you want to play, it works too: it is compatible with the rest of the Playmobil system and fits beach, camping, festival or road scenes alongside the other Playmobil vehicles.
